We successfully delivered an urgent roof repair and waterproofing project at American Golf’s Borehamwood site, addressing areas of failed roofing that had resulted in reported water ingress.

The works were carried out within a five-working-day call-out period, providing a targeted solution to restore the integrity of the affected roof areas and prevent further moisture penetration.

All works were completed by experienced roofing engineers with full PPE and in accordance with the required site risk assessment and access procedures.

PROJECT SCOPE

The repair works were focused on removing failed materials, preparing the affected surfaces and installing durable waterproofing solutions. Our works included:

Removal of approximately 9 metres of failed Flash Band and damaged roofing felt
Removal of raised and defective areas around bubbled holes
Thorough cleaning and preparation of affected roof surfaces
Filling of prepared holes with concrete
Installation of approximately 21m² of torch-on felt

Cleaning and preparation of approx. 12m² of a newly affected area
Application of Acropol waterproofing treatment to help prevent further moisture penetration
Removal and disposal of all associated waste from site
Before-and-after photographic records to meet client requirements

Problem Solved: Roof LeaksThe works directly addressed failed Flash Band, damaged felt and localised defects responsible for reported water ingress, restoring the affected areas and improving the roof’s weather resistance.

Targeted Waterproofing SolutionThe combination of concrete repairs, new torch-on felt and Acropol waterproofing provided a practical, durable solution across both the main and secondary affected areas.

Urgent ResponseThe project was delivered within the required five-working-day call-out period, minimising the risk of further water penetration and disruption to the site.
