We successfully delivered a refurbishment and compliance project at Unit 35 Old Mill, completing a range of landlord compliance and white box works to return the unit to a clean, compliant and market-ready condition.

The project focused on improving the presentation, functionality and compliance of the facility in line with wider estate standards.

Works included statutory inspections, internal and external improvements and targeted upgrades to enhance the overall quality of the unit, ensuring it was fully prepared for future occupation.

PROJECT SCOPE

The refurbishment works were designed to improve compliance, presentation and operational readiness. Our works included:

Servicing and certification of the roller shutter door and fire alarm system
Completion of an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR)
Review of EPC requirements and consideration of improvement measures
External redecoration of the roller shutter and entrance door in Indurent grey
Internal redecoration of the entrance area in RAL 9010 Pure White

Minor remedial decoration works throughout affected areas
Removal of existing hand sanitising station and associated making good
Deep cleaning of bathroom facilities and inspection of amenities
Comprehensive floor cleaning and final presentation works
Provision of all relevant certification and inspection records

The project was delivered under a JCT Minor Works Contract over a three-week programme, with careful coordination ensuring all works were completed efficiently and in line with the client's requirements.
