We successfully delivered a comprehensive refurbishment and fit-out project for Well Pharmacy at Birchwood Shopping Centre, transforming the existing retail unit into a modern, efficient and compliant healthcare environment.

The project involved a complete internal reconfiguration, specialist consultation room construction, upgraded building services and high-quality finishes throughout.

The completed refurbishment has enhanced customer experience, improved operational efficiency and created a flexible pharmacy environment designed to support future service delivery.

PROJECT SCOPE

The refurbishment works were designed to modernise the pharmacy, improve customer flow and provide enhanced facilities for both customers and staff. Our works included:

Complete strip-out and internal reconfiguration of the existing pharmacy
Storefront and entrance improvements, including glazing alterations and roller shutter modifications
Construction of new insulated consultation rooms with enhanced acoustic performance
Specialist flooring installation, including Amtico Signature flooring, Altro safety flooring and entrance matting

Installation of new partition walls and suspended ceiling systems
Full internal decoration and installation of new wall finishes
New security doors, staff welfare facilities, bespoke cabinetry and storage solutions
Relocation and installation of specialist pharmacy equipment
Complete electrical installation, air conditioning upgrades and new fire alarm system

The project was delivered under a JCT Design & Build Contract over a five-week programme, with careful coordination of multiple trades ensuring the works were completed efficiently and ready for the store’s reopening.
