We successfully delivered the CAT B fit-out and refurbishment of WSP UK’s 18,000 sq ft Exeter headquarters, transforming the existing office environment into a modern, flexible and collaborative workplace designed to support evolving ways of working.

The project involved the refurbishment and reconfiguration of an existing commercial office, creating a high-quality headquarters environment that enhances employee wellbeing, collaboration and operational efficiency.

Delivered under a JCT Design & Build Contract, the scheme required careful coordination of design, construction and specialist services to achieve the client’s vision while maintaining programme certainty and quality standards.

PROJECT SCOPE

The refurbishment works were designed to modernise the existing workplace while maximising the value of the building’s existing infrastructure. Our works included:

CAT B fit-out and refurbishment of an 18,000 sq ft office headquarters
Reconfiguration of existing office, meeting and collaboration spaces
Creation of flexible workplace environments and staff facilities
Integration of new finishes and upgraded workplace areas

Coordination of architectural, mechanical and electrical requirements
Management of design development and specialist subcontractors
Quality assurance, programme control and stakeholder management

The project was delivered over a 14-week programme under a JCT Design & Build Contract, with proactive planning, effective communication and careful sequencing ensuring the works were completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
